Pricing

Butler pricing across legal, bail, and investigation work.

Butler builds three vertical products on a shared platform. The pricing structure is uniform, the trial periods vary by product, and detailed pricing lives on the product page that matches your work.

Pricing without product-by-product confusion.

Butler Solutions offers three vertical software products: Legal Core for criminal defense practices, Bail Core for bail bond agencies, and PI Core for private investigation firms. Each product uses the same annual per-user pricing structure. Starter is $99 per user/month for 1 user, Small Team is $149 per user/month for 2–10 users, Firm is $199 per user/month for 11–25 users, and larger deployments receive custom pricing. Legal Core includes a 2-month free trial. Bail Core and PI Core include 3-month free trials. Each product has its own founding cohort with 100 spots; founding customers receive 25% off published subscription pricing for 2 years from subscription start. Each product also has 10 design partner spots; design partners receive 6 months free, then 50% off for 2 years, with deeper product involvement. This pricing hub explains the shared product-family structure. Detailed pricing, calculator assumptions, add-ons, usage allowances, and canonical Offer schema live on the product-specific pricing pages for Legal Core, Bail Core, and PI Core.

Comparison

Same prices, different products.

The software price is intentionally consistent across Legal Core, Bail Core, and PI Core. Trial periods differ because the workflows take different amounts of time to evaluate in practice.

Multi-product use

Some teams use more than one Butler product.

Multi-disciplinary firms, attorneys with investigation relationships, bail agencies with in-house investigators, and related operations may need more than one product. Butler prices each product independently by its own user count so the engagement stays understandable.

How to scope it

Mention connected workflows early.

If your work crosses legal, bail, and investigation boundaries, say so in the first conversation. Butler can structure the product mix, user counts, migration plan, and founding cohort claims around how the operations actually connect.

FAQ

Pricing family questions.

Does Butler require buying all three products?

No. Legal Core, Bail Core, and PI Core are sold independently. A criminal defense practice can use only Legal Core, a bail agency can use only Bail Core, and an investigation firm can use only PI Core. Multi-product use is available when the work genuinely spans more than one vertical.

Can a firm use multiple Butler products together?

Yes. Some customers have related legal, bail, and investigation workflows. Pricing scales by product and by the user count attached to that product, so the billing structure stays understandable even when multiple Butler products are used together.

Do founding cohort and design partner programs apply to multi-product customers?

Each product has its own founding cohort and design partner counter. A multi-product customer claims a Legal Core slot for Legal Core, a Bail Core slot for Bail Core, and a PI Core slot for PI Core. Program benefits apply to the product whose slot was claimed.

Is the pricing structure the same for all three products?

Yes. All three products use the same annual per-user pricing structure: Starter at $99 per user/month, Small Team at $149 per user/month, Firm at $199 per user/month, and custom pricing above 25 users. Product-specific pages explain details for each vertical.

Why do free trial periods differ by product?

Legal Core has a 2-month free trial. Bail Core and PI Core have 3-month free trials because those workflows often need more operating cycles to evaluate defendant tracking, field work, evidence handling, and handoffs. The product pricing pages state the trial period directly.

Where do I find detailed pricing for a specific product?

Use the product-specific pricing pages. Legal Core pricing lives at /legal/pricing, Bail Core pricing lives at /bail/pricing, and PI Core pricing lives at /pi/pricing. Those pages carry the detailed pricing tables, calculators, program counters, add-ons, and canonical Offer schema.

What about migrations and add-ons?

Migration has its own page because scope depends on source system, record volume, document libraries, and whether the move is cloud-to-cloud or complex. Phone AI agents, background checks, document processing overages, and pass-through services are explained on the product pricing pages.
