Butler Solutions

Design partner program — shape Butler with us.

A structured pilot for Legal Core, Bail Core, and PI Core customers who want deeper involvement, direct product access, and clear program terms.

Design partner program overview.

The Butler Solutions design partner program is a structured pilot for firms, agencies, and investigation teams that want a deeper role in shaping Legal Core, Bail Core, or PI Core before broad release. Each product has 10 design partner spots. Selection is application-based because the program requires real operational fit, not just interest in a discount. Design partners participate in biweekly product conversations, give structured feedback on workflows, terminology, edge cases, migration realities, and reporting needs, and are willing to be named in future case studies and references where appropriate. In return, accepted design partners receive 6 months of subscription access free, then 50% off published subscription pricing for 2 years after the free period. The discount applies to subscription fees, not overages, background checks, third-party services, or pass-through costs. Legal Core is for criminal defense practices, Bail Core is for bail bond agencies, and PI Core is for private investigation firms. Butler reviews applications for operational complexity, commitment level, and diversity across markets.

FAQ

Design partner questions.

What is the Butler design partner program?

The design partner program is a structured pilot for firms that want deeper involvement while Butler builds Legal Core, Bail Core, and PI Core. It is not a generic discount path. Participants commit time, provide operational feedback, and help validate product details before broader release.

How many design partner spots are available?

Each product has 10 design partner spots: 10 for Legal Core, 10 for Bail Core, and 10 for PI Core. The cap keeps the program small enough for direct product-team involvement and substantive implementation work with each participant.

What do design partners receive?

Design partners receive 6 months free, then 50% off published subscription pricing for 2 years after the free period. They also receive a direct line to the product team, roadmap influence, and recognition in launch communications where approved.

What does the discount apply to?

The design partner discount applies to subscription fees only. It does not apply to OCR, transcription, video overages, background checks, third-party data, payment processing, pass-through services, or unusual implementation exceptions unless separately approved.

What do biweekly calls involve?

Biweekly calls focus on concrete operating details: terminology, workflow order, approval points, edge cases, migration problems, reporting needs, and what would make the product easier or harder to use in real work. They are working sessions, not sales calls.

Can one firm be a design partner for multiple products?

Yes, if the firm has real operating work across multiple products. A criminal defense practice with affiliated bail or investigation operations may apply for more than one product, but Butler reviews each product fit separately.

Can a design partner withdraw?

Yes. A design partner can withdraw from the program if the time commitment or product fit no longer works. Subscription terms, discounts, and data handling are handled directly so there is no confusion about what changes after withdrawal.

What happens after the 2-year discount window?

After the 2-year discounted period, the account moves to the then-current published subscription pricing unless a separate written arrangement applies. Butler will make renewal timing and pricing visible before the discount window ends.

Do design partners have to be named publicly?

The program asks for willingness to be named in case studies and references, but public use still requires approval. Butler will not publish a firm name, quote, or case study detail without explicit customer approval.

What makes an applicant a good fit?

The strongest applicants have active operational complexity: meaningful case volume, field coordination, migration pain, state-specific requirements, reporting needs, or handoffs across legal, bail, and investigation work. The program works best when there is enough real work to test against.
